East Midlands Airport: Civil Aviation

Project Description

East Midlands Airport operate under the Manchester Airport Group and carry over 4 million passengers annually to over 90 domestic and international destinations. The need for round the clock cooling and heating throughout the main terminal building, control tower, plus many outlaying marker beacon, glide path, and localiser sites and is paramount. Not only for the comfort and welfare of travellers and staff, but also for the continuous operation of critical radar, navigation and air traffic control systems.

DCS Environmental Engineering work in partnership with EMA maintaining their comfort and critical cooling and heating systems both landside and air side. Our staff and Managers have worked at this site for over 15 years. We have completed in-depth background security checks for ID Passes allowing our directly employed mobile engineers unescorted access to high security airside locations, being an integral requirement for our civil aviation service delivery.
